Laura Abbatangelo, BSc Hons (she/her)

Laura was a 4th year honours student in the EMBody Lab in 2022-2023. She wrote her thesis on cardiovascular correlates of anhedonic symptoms in adolescents. She discovered throughout her time at Queen's that she has great interest in the onset and development of psychopathology in children and adolescents, with particular emphasis on examining the factors of risk and resilience. Laura was thrilled to be working with Dr. Vine to learn more about how interoception plays a role in the development of psychopathology in youth, and how it can inform various interventions and treatments.
