Maya Mckinlay (she/her)

Maya was a research assistant with the EMBody lab in her fourth year of psychology at Queen's University. She had previously worked in the READY Lab as a research assistant and managed the Emotion Transformation Lab in Toronto, Ontario. She completed her thesis in the Pain Affect Cognition Lab. Her research interests include emotion studies in adolescents and young adults, specifically risk factors for adolescent suicide and suicidal ideation. She also has an interest in pain research, specifically with chronic pain patients.
