
Mayah Palmer, BSc Hons (she/her)
Mayah Palmer is a 2nd year MSc student in the Clinical Psychology program at Queen's. Mayah graduated from Queen's in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biopsychology, completing an Honours Thesis in Biology examining adaptation to environmental stress in a nonhuman model organism. She then became the EMBody Lab's first-ever Lab Coordinator from 2022-23. As a Master's student, Mayah is studying the physiological costs of adaptation to stressors, particularly anti-Black racism affecting emerging adults in the predominantly white university environment.
